Having worked on three continents, Reddall brings a wealth of diverse experiences and global perspectives to communications. He is a respected advisor for combining a mastery of messaging and narrative with financial literacy and insights on corporate strategy.
At Chevron, Reddall oversaw external messaging for the company, leading a team in a sustained effort to reposition the company in the conversation around the energy transition. He developed executive messages and coached the C-suite on engaging with media and external stakeholders. Reddall also engaged extensively in issues management and crisis communications, including high-profile incidents threatening the company’s reputation.
At Reuters News, Reddall worked on three continents covering a wide variety of companies across different industries. This included stints in Dublin, London and Mumbai, before a move back to his native California. After a few years editing stories about technology companies, he switched back to reporting out of the San Francisco bureau on the full sweep of the energy industry – from hydrocarbons, energy storage and geothermal to engineering companies, rig contractors and oil service providers.
Reddall earned his BA in economics from the University of Chicago, having spent his third year abroad at the London School of Economics. He is passionate about communicating around the important roles that firms play in the economy and society, and equipping teams at companies with the tools to win in the war of ideas.
