Lisa Singleton

Principal

Lisa has more than 30 years of experience in communications with large, complex public companies, with an emphasis on crisis and issues management and critical corporate reputation issues.

Serving as a Senior Advisor for ExxonMobil, Lisa served as lead on internal and external communications on the $60B acquisition and integration of Pioneer National Resources. She also served as communications lead on the $5B acquisition of Denbury. She previously led global employee communications, global communications for growth markets and executive communications on corporate strategy.

Before joining ExxonMobil, Lisa was a Director at the Brunswick Group, a global communications consultancy, where she advised Fortune 100 companies in the airline, technology, energy and industrial industries on business critical issues. From 2004 – 2010 she held the position of vice president of corporate communications for Energy Future Holdings/TXU Corp., leading internal and external communications both during and after the $45 billion 2007 LBO and the company’s $19B ‘amend and extend’ transaction.

At American Airlines prior to that, Lisa had oversight of employee, labor and financial communications for American Airlines and American Eagle, providing communications leadership through the company’s reductions in workforce, labor contracts restructuring for all four airline unions and financial restructuring post 2001. She also held the role of director of corporate communications for Midwest Express Airlines from 1993 - 2002, leading all external and internal communications, including labor relations, financial communications, and media relations, during which she led communications on the company’s public offering and led crisis response around the events of September 11.

Lisa holds a BS in Communications/PR from Valparaiso University. An active civic volunteer, Lisa currently serves on the board of directors of The Family Place Foundation and is a member of Crystal Charity Ball.
